Following on from the guest lectures in November, 6 talented and motivated students from the MA Aviation Logistics were invited to participate in in an Initial Crew Resource Management Course. This was done to develop the students depth of understanding of human interaction.
The students, Jordy Leider, Alex Jumelet, Nico de Bock, Mark Vleij, Sander Vogelaar and Rienk Davelaar were joined by Sannie Bombeeck (Senior Lecturer HVA) and Han van der Meer (MD Yes Management). Stephen Walsh (MD Interaction Trainers Limited) was thoroughly impressed by all the participants.
The students revelled in the highly interactive environment. They all commented that they enjoyed this ‘mature’ environment and the manner in which, ‘adults were treated as adults’.
It was a thorough pleasure to work with these highly motivated people. They now have an undoubted edge over their peers and I urge all employers to give these people special consideration when considering employing them. Moreover, they conducted themselves in a highly-effective and professional manner and are a credit to themselves, their families, their University(HVA) and their Lecturer (Sannie). They are now and will always remain friends of ITL.
